         Mr. Party is believes in the necessity of user privacy on the internet. In the spirit of that belief, it strives to ensure that user information is never abused nor taken without the user’s knowledge.

What Information We Collect

 

         To provide our users with the best possible experience, Mr. Party collects and stores certain information voluntarily provided by the user. This information includes the user’s email address, username, and password associated with their Mr. Party account. This information can all be altered in the settings page of the Mr. Party Application. If the user chooses to start a “party”, their location at the time of the party creation is observed and stored. In addition, if the user grants Mr. Party permission then their location will be used to help locate and join “parties”. Furthermore, if the user explicitly chooses to grant it, Mr. Party will have limited access to their accounts on certain third parties, such as Spotify and Apple Music, according to the rules set out by the third party in question.

Internal Uses

        

The information you have provided with us may be used: 1) to provide the services you have requested by signing up for the Mr. Party application (these include playing and sharing music, interacting with other users through our social media section, and starting and joining “parties” in the app), 2) to answer any questions you inquire to us about the quality of our application, and 3) to send you any pertinent information regarding the use and functionality of the application as well as any new products we may offer in the future.

 

Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties

We will not disclose any personal information to any third party (excluding our contractors to whom we may provide such information for the limited purpose of providing services to us and who are obligated to keep the information confidential), unless (1) you have authorized us to do so; (2) we are legally required to do so, for example, in response to a subpoena, court order or other legal process and/or, (3) it is necessary to protect our property rights related to this website. We also may share aggregate, non-personal information about website usage with unaffiliated third parties. This aggregate information does not contain any personal information about our users.

We exercise great care to protect your personal information. This includes, among other things, using industry standard techniques such as firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or receive from us. This is especially true for information you transmit to us via email since we have no way of protecting that information until it reaches us since email does not have the security features that are built into our websites.

In addition, we limit Mr. Party’s employees and contractors' access to personal information. Only those employees and contractors with a business reason to know have access to this information. We educate our employees about the importance of maintaining confidentiality of customer information.
